When you talk to a SaaS founder for long enough, they always have a screenshot of the same thing on their phone: a kind message from a user, sitting in their email or Slack, never sent anywhere.

The message is great. It's specific. It says exactly what the product changed. It's the kind of testimonial that would convert a lukewarm landing-page visitor into a signup.

And it stays in their phone forever.

The reason is friction. To turn that message into something on a website, the founder has to email the user back asking for permission to publish it, wait for the response, format the quote, find a photo of the user (or skip the photo), decide where on the landing page to put it, build a testimonial section from scratch (or hire a designer), and then update the section every time another good quote comes in.
